In Tolland County, nearly 9 inches of snow fell in Storrs, and 8 inches fell in Mansfield and Union. In Windham County, 10 inches of snow were reported in Pomfret, 9 inches in Putnam, and 8 inches in West Thompson. The storm produced difficult travel conditions for the Monday morning commute, and schools were closed in many communities.
