Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA low pressure system moved from the Southern Plains the morning of the 5th, into northern Ohio the morning of the 6th, cut across northern Pennsylvania during the day on the 6th and reached Cape Cod the morning of the 7th. Snow spread across the Poconos during the morning of the 6th. As the low moved across northern Pennsylvania, it brought in warmer air and the snow changed to rain (in the valleys first) as precipitation ended during the late afternoon. Accumulations ranged from 1 to 4 inches and included 4 inches in Long Pond, 3 inches in Mount Pocono, 2 inches in Lehighton and 1 inch in East Stroudsburg.
