Event narrativeevent_narrativeA fast moving low pressure system brought a narrow stripe of locally heavy snow to northern Oneida county from early in the evening on the 11th until just after daybreak on the 12th. Accumulations in this area generally ranged from 4 to 8 inches. Specifically, Forestport received nearly 7.5 inches, with Holland Patent and Stokes Hill getting about 6 inches. The snow quickly tapered off to scattered snow showers by mid-morning on the 12th as the storm center moved well off the New Jersey coast.
