The summits of Wolf Creek Pass and Cumbres Pass, and other areas above 10,000 feet reported snowfall amounts of 12 to 20 inches. Santa Maria Reservoir, elevation 9800 feet, reported 6 to 7 inches of snow along with weather related power outages that lasted 4 hours. In Creede only about 3 inches of snow fell, but the wet snow combined with gusty winds to bring down numerous power lines. |
