The areas hit hardest by the storm were the northern and central Black Hills. Snow amounts in these areas ranged from four to eight inches. Elsewhere snow amounts were one to two inches, but combined with wind gusts over 50 mph visibilities were occasionally reduced to less than one half mile. |
