| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | During the night of October 23rd moist upslope flow over south eastern Idaho along with a deepening storm over the high plains produced heavy snow over much of eastern Idaho. Many valley locations experienced the first significant snow of the season. Driggs reported 12 inches of snow, with 8 to 12 inches likely over the higher elevations of southeast Idaho. In the south central highlands, Oakley reported 7 inches. In the Snake River Valley, Pocatello and Idaho Falls reported 8 inches of snow with 6 inches at Rexburg. The heavy, wet snow brought numerous trees and large branches down, with widespread minor power outages due to trees falling onto power lines. |
