Winds were gusting to 35 to 40 mph and visibility in open areas was near zero in blowing snow. Snow was sticking to the roadway and creating very slick conditions. The driver of the vehicle he was traveling in attempted to pass another, lost control of the vehicle, and struck an oncoming pickup. His 75 yr old wife was also injured in the accident. |
