| episode_narrative | After the Saturday evening severe weather event, many of the same counties had snow the next morning. Arctic air had blasted into the region overnight causing the first hard freeze of the season. The upper levels of the storm system that caused the severe weather the night before plowed across to the south of the local area. This was an unusually early snowfall with up to 4 inches in Glasscock and Reagan Counties. In Glasscock County a road crew truck overturned State Highway 158 west of Garden City. A number of other minor traffic accidents were blamed on the slick roads. |
