Across northeast Tennessee, amounts were generally between 1" and 2 1/2". In Johnson county in northeast Tennessee, 5" was recorded at Mountain City, and 6 1/2" was recorded at Shady Valley. Across the central valley of East Tennessee amounts were between 1/2" and 2" with a few locally higher amounts near 3". Across the Smoky Mountains, amounts varied between 1" and 4".
