episode_narrativeHeavy snowfall and strong winds in exposed areas resulted in difficult travel conditions and the closure of many mountain passes throughout western Colorado. Numerous vehicle accidents were reported along with a number of avalanches. Snowfall totals generally ranged from 1 to 2 feet in the mountains, and 3 to 8 inches in the valleys down to about the 6000 foot level.
