Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn area of low pressure moving northeast off the Atlantic coast brought up to a foot of snow to Maine. Highest accumulations occurred in the far north and western mountains. Less than 6 inches fell within about 40 miles of the coast, where occasional icing or mixed precipitation occurred. Slippery roads resulted in numerous automobile accidents. Storm winds combined with an astromoical high tide to produce minor coastal flooding in extreme southern Maine.
