Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA low pressure system developed off the North Carolina coast and a nor'easter accompanied by heavy, wet snow began during the late afternoon and early evening on Easter Sunday. The maximum snowfall accumulation of around 6 inches was measured on grassy surfaces and in higher elevations. Union, in Tolland County, had 6.5 inches while only around 1 inch of snow fell in the Connecticut Valley, including 1 inch at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks. Pavements had much less accumulation and many roads remained just wet or slushy.
