Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeSurface high pressure building south from the Dakotas...in combination with an upper level trough moving into the area from the west produced upslope flow across eastern Colorado. Numerous snow showers were reported over the higher terrain...while rain showers fell across the southeast plains. Areas adjacent to the eastern foothills received 1 to 4 inches of snow...while the higher terrain received considerably more. Rye in Pueblo county reported 10 inches, Cuchara in Huerfano county 13 inches, and San Isabel in Custer county 12 to 18 inches.
