Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeThe Coots wildfire began around 2254CST about six miles south southwest of Romero Texas in Hartley County. The wildfire consumed a measured three hundred and fifteen acres. The wildfire was determined to have been caused by lightning. There were no reports of any homes or other structures threatened, damaged or lost from the wildfire. There were also no reports of any injuries or fatalities. The Dalhart VFD responded to the wildfire which was brought under control around 0236CST on June 17.
