event_narrativeThe Locust Grove fire was started by farming equipment around noon local daylight time southwest of Kennewick WA. The fire was relatively slow moving, burning in grass and brush. Homes south of Badger Rd where placed in Level 1 evacuation for a period of time. State resources where activated at 1700 hours. The fire was contained and in mop up by early evening. No structures were ultimately affected.
