event_narrativeFire crews responded to a brush fire near Easterday Farms, just south of Nine Canyon Road on Friday, June 22nd. It spread into Switzler Canyon which could not be directly accessed due to poor terrain. Late in the afternoon the fire jumped a dozer line requiring a request for more responders. The fire was stopped towards midnight at around 1,000 acres. Mop up continued into the 23rd. There were no injuries.
