episode_narrativeThe Cliff Creek Fire continued slow growth in remote areas of the Bridger-Teton National Forest the first week of August. By Friday, August 5, containment was approximately 90 percent and the threat to inhabited areas no longer existed. In all, the Cliff Creek Fire scorched almost 35,000 acres and nearly 700 people were assigned to the fire at its peak.
