| episode_narrative | The Pine Fire was lightning initiated by embedded thunderstorms from moisture associated with Hurricane Max as it swept northward into Central California early in the morning of the 20th. The fire was aided by gusty southeast wind and burned 1814 acres 12-15 miles northeast of Bakersfield in the foothill grasslands. No structures were lost nor injuries reported. |
