episode_narrativeLightning sparked the Rio Blanco Fire about 10 miles southeast of Pagosa Springs in the San Juan National Forest. The fire was designated as a Wildland Fire Use incident and burned about 200 acres of mixed conifer and oak understory by the end of June.
