episode_narrativeA fire burned about 125 acres of brush in the South Kohala District on the Big Island of Hawaii, 9 miles south/southwest of Kamuela and 4 1/2 miles east/southeast of Waikoloa. The fire was caused by a van, involved in a two-van collision on Waikoloa Road, when it tumbled off the road into a nearby dry, grassy area. Part of Waikoloa Road had to be closed for more than six hours while firefighters fought the blaze. However, no homes were threatened or had to be evacuated. There were no serious injuries or property damage.
