| episode_narrative | Lightning ignited fires on Bowman Ridge and Crow Peak in Western Lawrence county, near the Wyoming/South Dakota border the evening of June 25. By the morning of the 28th of June, the fire was contained after consuming 30 acres. Three, 20-person fire crews assisted the Bear Ridge Volunteer Fire Dept with the fire. Additionally, a helicopter and tanker plane assisted with several drops of slurry ( a flame retardant mix). |
