event_narrativeThe Wolf Den wildfire was a lightning caused fire that burned approximately 19,800 acres across the remote Tavaputs plateau. Oil and gas infrastructure, cultural and historic resources, deer and elk winter range, and sage grouse habitat were at risk. The only structure destroyed was an historic cabin.
