| episode_narrative | The Canyon fire started around 1052 PST on the 6th as three separate fires, near the intersection of Lambs Canyon Road and Gilman Springs Road near Beaumont in Riverside County. One firefighter received minor fire-related injuries and was transported by paramedics for treatment. The fire burned a total of 3 acres before being fully contained around 1150 PST the same day. The cause of the fire is unknown. CHP closed the #2 lane on northbound Highway 79 for a time. |
