| episode_narrative | The Antoine 2 Wildfire burned 6,837 acres of grass, heavy sage, and timber across steep and rocky terrain seven miles north of Chelan, Washington near Wells Dam on the Columbia River in Chelan and Okanogan counties. The cause of the fire remained under investigation. The fire threatened fifty homes at one time, but no structures were loss. Highway 97 was briefly closed Monday, August 6th, when the flames jumped over the road. |
