event_narrativeThe Pole Creek Fire started on June 27th, eight miles north of Neola, Utah, and was caused by fireworks. The fire burned 2,058 acres before it was 100% contained on July 3rd. Two firefighters were injured by the blaze. Fire suppression costs totaled $317,000. Note that this event continued into July.
