episode_narrativeHigh pressure offshore brought warm southwesterly flow over southern New England. Above normal temperatures combined with low dewpoints resulting in relative humidity levels in the 15 to 25 percent range. These conditions along with gusty winds at times contributed to the spread of a fire in meadowlands in Dedham. Firefighters were unable to determine the initial cause of the fire.
event_narrativeA fire burned about an acre just off of Route 56 on the Leicester-Paxton line. A Paxton firefighter was injured while fighting the fire. He was struck in the back of the head by a falling tree branch.
