| episode_narrative | A few wildfires that started in late August continued into early September. The combination of hot temperatures, the availability of fuels, and winds created the conditions for these fires to either continue or develop. |
| event_narrative | The 400 acre Cedar Truck Wildfire Complex consisted of more than 34 different fire starts across portions of Kimble County in late August. One secondary structure was lost in this complex. The fire complex was 100 percent contained. The Cedar Truck Complex, apparently named for the vehicle that sparked 34 separate fires while driving along a 24-mile stretch of highway. Firefighters saved 13 homes threatened by the fire complex, which was burning just west of Fort McKavett. |
