episode_narrativeFive grass fires in Coryell County began in the latter part of August and burned into September. The Coryell Complex, Horseshoe Bend Fire, and Jack Mountain Fire were all contained during September. The Pilot Knob Fire and Robinette Fire were not contained until October. Damage estimates for these fires can be found with their initial entries in the August Storm Data report.
event_narrativeThe Robinette Fire began on August 20th, was contained on August 22nd, but was not fully controlled until October 11th. It started near the East Range Road impact area and burned 6180 acres. This fire was located only 6 miles from the Pilot Knob Fire. No damage occurred with this fire.
