| episode_narrative | The Goontz Wildfire began about three miles north northeast of Kellerville Texas in Wheeler County at approximately 1200CST. The wildfire consumed an estimated seven hundred acres and was caused by downed transmission lines. There were no reports of injuries, however three homes and two other structures were threatened but saved. The wildfire was contained around 2130CST. |
