episode_narrativeThe Texas Forest Service reported that the 2357 Complex or also the Channing Complex was made up of three wildfires which began about seven miles northwest of Channing Texas in Hartley County around 1627 CST. The northernmost wildfire consumed six hundred acres, the middle wildfire consumed one thousand acres, and the southernmost wildfire consumed one thousand acres for an estimated total of two thousand and six hundred acres burned. There were no reports of structures threatened and also no injuries were reported. The wildfire complex was contained around 1830 CST.
