episode_narrativeThe Wenatchee River Complex Fire, located near Cashmere, consisted of four fires which burned 2,065 acres. The fires were caused by several lightning strikes which occurred in the area on July 28th. The largest fire was the Nahahum Fire at 1,947 acres which burned five miles north of Cashmere. Numerous structures were threatened by the fire. The other fires were all less than 100 acres in size.
