No damage to properties or buildins were reported. ||The wildfire occurred on the last hot day in a stretch of unseasonably warm weather for late April. High temperatures reached as high as the lower 90s each day from April 25th through April 28th. Strong southwest to northwest winds occurred during the day on the 28th as a cold front moved through New Jersey. The peak wind gust at Newark Liberty International Airport on the 28th was 32 mph from the west. The high temperature that day at Newark Liberty International Airport was 90 degrees.
