episode_narrativeThe Tumble Creek Wildfire started approximately 420pm on the afternoon of August 1st. It's location was in the West Fork of the Stillwater River drainage approximately 8 miles west of the Woodbine Campground, and 1 mile south of the Absaroka/Beartooth Wilderness boundary. The wildfire was lightning caused and burned around 380 acres and was contained on August 8th. The fuels involved were timber (litter and understory).
