Event narrativeevent_narrativeThe Williams Road Wildfire started in the late afternoon of the 15th southwest of Burnet. The fire was started by a vehicle in dried grass. At the time of the fire start, relative humidity was near 24%, and winds were from the northeast near 10 mph. Above normal temperatures kept minimum RH near 30% over the next few days, but winds remained light. The fire eventually burned 322 acres before being contained on the afternoon of the 17th.
