| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | The Willow Creek fire continued to burn in the Bridger-Teton National Forest at the beginning of the month. Increasing monsoonal moisture and rising humidity enabled fire crews to increase containment on the fire after Labor Day, with containment increasing to 73 percent by September 7th, with near full containment by September 16th. In total, the fire burned 4066 acres and resulted in closure of several Forest Service Roads and some temporary evacuations. |
