| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | As dry conditions continued into November, this led to periods of critical fire weather conditions across the combined Panhandles. An upper level trough in place over the western United States allowed for southwest winds to occur over the Panhandles. A low pressure system developed on the eastern side of the Rockies, which allowed for increased winds and resulted in critical fire weather conditions across a good portion of the Panhandles on November 7th. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | A wildfire developed in eastern Gray County and spread into western Wheeler County. This fire was named the 152 & Gray County Line Fire, was estimated to have burned 575 acres and took about 3 hours to contain. This information was obtained from the Texas A&M Forest Service Incident Report Record. |
