Event narrativeevent_narrativeThe first report of the Marsh Creek Fire was made on August 27th late afternoon/early evening. The fire was 12 miles SE of Lincoln and was a lightning start. The fire grew to 151 acres before becoming 100% contained on or around September 17. Fuels involved were dense timber, live and beetle killed trees, and dead and downed trees.
