Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeLow pressure tracking across southern Canada generated winds of 50 to 60 mph. These strong winds combined with dry conditions to help generate a fire that burned a path approximately 12 miles long and 1/2 to 1 and 1/2 miles wide for a total 4556 acres burned. 13 departments responded to the fire, and efforts to suppress the fire were aided by local residents with farm equipment. The fire damaged a fire truck and tractor before being extinguished.
