Winds were generally light over the area, around 5-10 mph with gusts less than 20 mph. Humidity hovered in the 20-30% range with temperatures in the upper 70s.|Around 1:30 pm PDT lane and ramp closures of I-80 began, along with evacuations of nearby residents. At 2 pm PDT I-80WB was closed and by 3:15 PM PDT it was closed in both directions. At 3:10 pm PDT a power outage was reported along I-80 from Applegate to Colfax, impacting 1785 customers. Around 5:30 pm PDT reports of progress stopped and evacuations were lifted, with 26 acres burned.
