Event narrativeevent_narrativeThe Peter Fire began on July 14, 2022, near Peter Pan Gulch Road and Olinda Road, just south of Anderson in Shasta County. The fire burned 304 acres and caused evacuations and power outages through the area, with 16 structures destroyed. Of the destroyed structures, 6 were residential and 10 were out buildings. 6 other buildings were also damaged. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
