A couple thunderstorms took on supercell characteristics near the surface boundary and produced large hail up to 2.5 inches in diameter. A brief tornado also occurred near Wolsey, SD.||In the post warm frontal air mass from mid-evening into the early overnight of April 23, 2022, non-thunderstorm high winds produced multiple gusts in excess of 58 mph across southeast South Dakota. |
