| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Dry air and unusually warm temperatures produced extremely low relative humidity for several days. These dry conditions combined with breezy winds to produce critical fire weather conditions. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | The Training Area 23 Wildfire started on the afternoon of the 9th on Camp Bullis in northern Bexar County. The fire burned until the 22nd, and there were Red Flag Warnings in effect on the 9th and the 13th. During the early days of the fire Comal County encouraged voluntary evacuations of a couple of subdivisions in the adjacent part of the county as a precaution, but no residences were affected.
