Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA cold front collided with warm and humid conditions, which then triggered scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening across Central New York. Many storms became severe and produced damaging winds as well as 1 inch hail. While fallen trees and utility wires made up most of the damage, there was also some minor structural damage as well. One storm became tornadic as a weak, short-lived tornado passed near Dryden in Thompkins County.
