Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA 31-year-old man was hiking below tree line, between Dream Lake and Lake Haiyaha, in Rocky Mountain National Park, when he was struck by lightning. Other hikers found the seriously injured man and called park rangers. He was evacuated to the Bear Lake Trailhead and then taken by air ambulance to Medical Center of the Rockies. He suffered a broken jaw and severe burns over one third of his body.
