Episode narrativeepisode_narrative	A weakening surface low tracked northeast across Lake Huron during the afternoon hours with its corresponding warm front extending to the east across Lake Ontario then snaking south ahead of the higher terrain east of Syracuse. This placed all of western New York within the warm sector of the aforementioned storm system. Within this environment, a weak 30 kt low level jet was moving through the region. This helped to produce ample shear while instability increased in the warm sector of the system. A line of convection crossed Chautauqua and western Cattaraugus county, gradually increasing in intensity with time as it crossed the Southern Tier. There were several reports of flooding issues with the thunderstorms, even though they were moving eastward fairly quickly. A second line of training thunderstorms developed again in evening and trained over the Southern Tier, resulting in additional flooding.
