Near Conway (Faulkner County), a severe storm produced quarter size hail. Trees were also blown over, with one tree on a house and another blocking Highway 64.||Tragically, a 67-year-old man was struck by lightning in his yard at Russellville (Pope County) around 130 pm CDT. He was transported to a local hospital and eventually passed away. This was the second lightning fatality of 2018 in Arkansas (the first lightning death occurred on June 8th). |
