However, temperatures were quite mild, generally in the mid to upper 80s with dew points in the 60s. Thunderstorms over west central Minnesota in the early afternoon tracked north-northeast through the late afternoon and early evening, mainly affecting the Wadena to Bemidji to Baudette corridor. Some of these storms dropped large hail and produced strong wind gusts.
