Another thunderstorm early Tuesday morning, and associated lightning strike, caused damage to a home in Woodbury. ||Isolated thunderstorms developed Monday evening in far southern Minnesota along an outflow boundary from earlier convection in Iowa. These storms became locally severe, producing occasional large hail near Waseca to Owatonna. Additional thunderstorms developed during the pre dawn hours around the Twin Cities, a few storms dropped up to ping pong size hail near Shoreview.
