Some of these storms produced large hail and flash flooding. Some of the flooding was significant across the Sandhills region, where 6 to 10 inches or rain fell. Multiple roads were flooded and/or washed out, homes and businesses flooded, and dams were topped or breached across the Sandhills region. |

The fire and was quickly contained and did minimal damage to the kitchen, however the lightning strike did considerable damage to the electrical circuits and possibly HVAC system. |
