The strike occurred in the 1300 block of South Country Road 1100 West near Alert, Indiana. The Decatur County Sheriff���s Office said the young girl and her grandmother were getting ready to get into the car when she was struck by lightning. The grandmother told deputies she heard a loud crack of lightning and looked over and saw the girl on the ground. She is expected to make a full recovery. |
